Using your Compass USB Modem 

If you have canceled the software installation process or 
removed the modem from the computer before the software 
installation process was complete, you may receive error 
messages when you try to reinstall the software. If that 
happens: 

1. 

Go to 

Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs 

and 

remove 

TRU-Install

. 

2. 

Insert the modem into the computer. 

Note:  Do not remove the modem until the software installation 
process is complete.
