criteria
for
main
path,
diversity
path,
and
GPS
antennas
used
with
MC57xx
modules
(CDMA
networks)
and
MC87xx
modules
(GSM
/
EDGE
/
UMTS
networks).
Required antennas
lists
minimum
required
antenna
types
for
each
module
and
the
maximum
antenna
gain,
including
cable
loss,
in
a
mobile
‐
only
exposure
condition.
Note: If your system uses both the MC87xx and MC57xx, the five-
band antenna can be used for both modules. However, improved
antenna performance may be attained if a dual-band main-path
antenna is designed and optimized specifically for the MC57xx.
