3.3.3 THERMOSTAT, WALL SWITCH OR DIGITAL ON/OFF REMOTE INSTALLATION
The burner control knob is located in the control compartment at the bottom of the unit. For your convenience,
the unit can also be operated by a thermostat, a digital on/off remote or a wall switch control. Millivolt
thermostats are available from any authorized Inca Metal Cutting dealer. Bedroom installations require the use
of a wall thermostat. Note: Thermostats are not allowed in the United States.
Le bouton de commande du brûleur est situé dans le compartiment de commande au bas de l'appareil. Pour
votre commodité, l'appareil peut également être exploité par un thermostat, un appareil photo numérique on / off

Thermostat, Digital On/Off Remote or Wall Switch Installation
Mount the thermostat, digital on/off remote or wall switch in the desired location and run
“two conductor
thermostat wire” to the unit’s lower right hand corner, close to the gas supply line.
Monter le thermostat numérique, télécommande marche / arrêt ou l'interrupteur mural à l'endroit désiré et
exécuter "les deux fils du thermostat d'orchestre" au coin de l'appareil en bas à droite, près de la ligne
d'alimentation en gaz.
1. Purchase “two conductor thermostat wire” , which is not provided, at any local supplier. Achat "deux
fils du thermostat d'orchestre», qui n'est pas fourni, à tout fournisseur local.
2. The 2 brown wires on the module connect to the wall thermostat. Les 2 fils marron du module se
connectent au thermostat mural.
3.3.4 DIRECT VENT INFORMATION / DIRECT VENT D'INFORMATION
The unit must be connected to listed 2-ply aluminium venting, 4” flex vent on the exhaust side and listed 6” flex
vent on the air intake side. Install the vent components according to the manufacturer's instructions being sure
to use spacers (see Figure 4) every 3’ to ensure correct spacing is maintained between air intake and exhaust.
Slope horizontal pipe at least 1/4" (6 mm) rise per foot of horizontal run away from the fireplace. Allow 1" (25
mm) clearance to the vent. Refer to the graph for allowable vent configurations. Be sure to ensure that
termination area allows enough room for adequate combustion and ventilation air and that the flow of combustion
and ventilation air is not obstructed. See page 21 for hard pipe through the roof installation requirements.
L'appareil doit être connecté à cotée 2 couches d'aluminium ventilation , 4 "flex évent sur le côté de
l'échappement et répertoriés 6 " flex évent sur le côté d'admission d'air . Installez les composants de ventilation
selon les instructions du fabricant en veillant à utiliser des entretoises ( voir figure 4) tous les 3’ pour assurer un
espacement correct est maintenu entre l'apport d'air et l'échappement. Pente tuyau horizontal d'au moins 1/4 "
( 6 mm ) par pied de course horizontale loin du foyer . Laisser 1 " ( 25 mm) à l'évent . Reportez-vous au
graphique de configuration de l'évacuation admissibles . Veillez à ce que la zone de terminaison permet assez
de place pour combustion et l'air de ventilation et que le débit de combustion et de l'air de ventilation n'est pas
obstruée. Reportez-vous à la page 21 pour les tubes rigides dans les conditions d'installation du toit.
NOTE
The thermostat, digital on/off remote or wall switch MUST be rated for millivolt use. Minimize
splicing in all millivolt wiring & crimp all unavoidable splices.
Le thermostat numérique, télécommande marche / arrêt ou l'interrupteur mural doit être évalué pour
une utilisation en millivolts. Minimiser épissage dans l'ensemble du câblage millivolt & sertir toutes
les épissures inévitable.
