DISASSEMBLY OF MXL SYSTEM
Remove all system power, first battery and then AC.
1.
Remove and discard the outer door and the hardware used to secure it in
place.
2.
Disconnect and remove the modules from the inner door.
3.
Remove all modules from the backbox, making sure to mark all wires.
4.
Remove the MPS power supply and batteries from the backbox. Save the
mounting hardware for later use.

The three parts of the XLS-MLE6-ADPT are installed separately. The adapter plate is
installed first, followed by the inner door and then the outer door.
Adapter Plate
The XLS-MLE6-ADPT adapter plate has 18 holes in it that fit over the studs in the
MLE-6 backbox in only one way.
1.
Place the XLS-MLE6-ADPT over the studs in the backbox and secure it in
place with the six #1-4 x 20 hex flange locknuts supplied in the locations
marked “A” shown in Figure 1.
