Monitoring functions
9.6.1
Monitoring phase connection
The two line voltage connections of the POM are monitored to determine whether one phase
is connected or not.
If one phase is not connected, an error message is generated (see SectionFault reporting
through diagnostics data (Page 109) ) and heater operation for this phase stops. The other
phase can still be operated.
9.6.2
Line supply voltage monitoring
Line supply voltage monitoring
Note
This monitoring function is only available if a PM U/I is plugged in.
The POM power output modules can be operated in TN systems and TT systems. The
permissible line supply voltage range is between 207 V AC and 253 V AC for POM low-end
and between 207 V AC and 300 V AC for POM mid-range.
If the voltage lies outside the admissible range, an error message will be generated (see
section Manufacturer-specific error codes (Page 104)) and heater operation stops. Heating
can only be switched on again when the voltage has returned to the admissible range.
Note
In mixed-mode operation of POM4220 low-end and POM4220 mid-range, the voltage range
of the POM4220 low-end shall apply.
NOTICE
Excessive voltages can damage the device
It is the responsibility of the user to ensure compliance with the maximum voltage limits.
