There are a different mounting holes (61) on the bearing frame for the various instal-
lation types.

Use strength class 8.8 screws for fastening. The binding dimension drawings and
installation drawing are decisive.

Earthing

Connecting to earth

Connect the vacuum circuit-breaker on the earthing terminal (70) to the high-voltage
protective earth as specified (DIN EN 50341).
If the cover is made from metal, fixing of the earthing conductor is only possible as
shown in Fig. 48.

• Select the cross-section of the earthing conductor so that a current of 30 A, with

a maximum voltage drop of 3 V can be conducted to the provided earthing point
(see IEC 62271-200).

• Remove hexagonal bolt M12 with washers from the supplementary equipment

or, if mounted, completely unscrew from the earthing terminal (70).

• Attach the contact washer (SN 70093), ring-main cable of the earthing conduc-

tor and washer with the hexagonal bolt M12 to the earthing terminal (70.) with
105 Nm.

Connecting low-voltage

Connect the low-voltage connecting cables in the customer's switchgear in such a
way that safe operation as per the supplied circuit diagram is guaranteed.

Note

If the vacuum circuit-breaker is installed into an earthed metal frame and is con-
nected permanently and electrically conductive, no separate earthing is required.

In this case, place contact washers (SN 70093) under the screw heads when fas-
tening the vacuum circuit-breaker.
