Tag Detail

SIMATIC PCS 7 OSx 4.1.2 Operator

A Tag Detail Directory lists the configured tags (except the recipe area tags

and the tags that represent the system nodes) and their corresponding

descriptions. The directory lists one tag detail name on each line.

To access the directory of tag detail displays, the operator follows these

steps:

Set the system state to Operate. The system displays the navigation

area on all OSx stations where a user is logged in.

Select the

icon from the navigation area. The screen displays a

Select the tag that you want to see. The screen displays the detail for

the tag.

The figures on the following pages illustrate examples of tag detail displays

that the operator can view and change, with the appropriate security
