Connecting External PoE Power
The RUGGEDCOM RST2228P supports up to twenty-four 10/100/1000 Mbps Pow-
er-over-Ethernet (PoE) ports that require external power.
DANGER
Electrocution hazard – risk of serious personal injury. The PoE power supply is in-
tended to have a local connection to a PoE DC output power supply. Make sure the
PoE power supply has galvanic isolation from high voltage and field wiring.
