Module Replacement

2

Replacing modules requires accessing the internal daughter-board modules and re-

moving them from the motherboard. The device must only be opened by authorized

personnel and in a clean working environment free of airborne dust and debris. The

technician must wear proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protective equipment to

prevent errant electrical currents from damaging the device.

NOTICE
Before replace modules

An in-field modification kit is required before replacing modules in the device. This

kit includes the required factory files and product label.
For information about ordering the appropriate kit, contact Siemens Customer Sup-

port.
