NOTE
Before copying the file, ensure that it does not already exist in the “Secondary” memory bank. If
the file is present in the “Secondary” memory bank, delete the file from the “Secondary” memory
bank before copying. For instructions on how to delete files from the “Secondary” memory bank,
see Section 6.2.8.5, “Managing the Secondary Memory Bank” .
• Select a file from the Primary Components Table .
• Click the
Copy File
.
6. To copy all files to the “Secondary” memory bank:

Copy directory

Managing the Secondary Memory Bank
Use the Secondary Components pane to manage software in the “Secondary” memory bank. On this pane, you
can view information for the files in the memory bank, upload files from the memory bank to your FTP server, and
delete files from the memory bank.
Before uploading files to an FTP server, you must configure an FTP server on the
FTP Server Properties
pane. For instructions on how to configure the FTP server properties, see Section 6.2.8.3, “Downloading CPE
Software” .
Procedure: Viewing files in the Secondary memory bank
1. Click the Management button. The Current Status pane appears.
2. In the options pane, click the SW Upgrade link, and then click the Secondary Bank link. The Secondary
Components pane appears.
