Checking the hearing instrument's performance
The LED shows whether the hearing instruments work
properly.
The LED shines constantly.
The hearing instruments are switched on and
sufficient battery power is available.
The LED ist off.
The hearing instruments are switched off or
the battery must be replaced.
To check if sufficient battery power is available
use a battery tester or place the switched-on
hearing instruments in your closed hand and
listen if it responds with feedback whistling.
Check the instrument sound regularly with a
stethoclip, particularly if your child is not able to
express verbally if something is wrong with the
hearing instruments.
