Defining event behaviour – Treatment instructions/information

Associate any special procedures with its corresponding zone or device

There may be some rooms or situations where a special procedure or information
should be provided in addition to that in the default procedure. For example, pro-
viding the operator with special instructions, or providing a notification that hazard-
ous or explosive materials are contained in an area where an alarm is occurring.
Once you have placed these bitmaps in the XMLData\Instructions folder, you can
associate them with the corresponding zones or elements.

To associate a special procedure or additional information with its corresponding
object, do the following:

1.

Select the object that should have the special procedure associated with it.

2.

Select the property that the procedure applies to. (See Fig. 43, B.)

3.

Select the instruction “bitmap” from the

Instruction File Name

drop-down list in

the

Field Point Data

tab. (See Fig. 43, C.)

4.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each property that the procedure should apply to.
