Troubleshooting tips

Your hearing instruments are extremely reliable

devices. Should a problem occur, it can usually

be corrected quickly. Use these troubleshooting

tips to resolve simple issues.

If you still encounter problems after trying

these suggestions, consult your Audiologist or

Hearing Care Provider.

Problem

Sound is weak

Possible solution

Replace old battery. Clean or exchange

LifeTip, LifeTube. Increase volume

(only with remote control).

Clean or exchange the microphone cover.

Lower volume (only with remote control).

Replace battery.

Clean or exchange the microphone cover.

Sound is distorted

Gently close battery compartment completely.

Replace battery.

Instrument emits

signal tones

Try reinserting the LifeTip until it fits

securely. Lower volume (only with remote

control). Clean LifeTip or contact your

Audiologist or Hearing Care Provider.

Instrument

emits whistling

sound

Check if the hearing instrument is turned on.

Gently close battery compartment completely.

Replace empty battery.

Make sure battery is inserted correctly.

Wait 18 seconds and check again.
