Place the cable in the stripping tool.

Clamp the cable with the stripping tool by pressing the lever fully forward.

To strip the insulation, turn the tool in the direction of the arrow

Keeping the stripping tool closed, pull the jacket and remnants of the shield off
the end of the cable.
Note
If a wire was damaged during stripping, you will need to cut off the section of the
cable and repeat steps 2 to 5.

If necessary, remove any conductor remnants by hand. Cut off the inner
divider as completely as possible.
Note: With four-pair cables,
the lever must only be
pushed forward to the
second last position.
