Uninstalling Drivers and Tools from Earlier HC15 Releases 

The following procedures apply only to drivers of earlier HC15 releases supplied as preview 
samples for testing only. 
 

2.7.1 

Uninstalling Earlier Drivers 

Under Windows XP, open the 

Device Manager

 and select the drivers as described in 

chapter 2.5. Keep in mind that the drivers are listed in the 

Device Manager

 only when the 

module is switched on. Right-click the driver and, from the resulting menu, select 

Uninstall

. 

 

 

 
 

2.7.2 

Uninstalling Earlier Connection Manager 

Old versions of the Siemens Connection Manager were installed in Windows XP under 

Program Files | Siemens | ConnectionManager

. To uninstall the program simply remove the 

“conman.exe” file.
