Administration
The Gigaset SE365 WLAN user interface includes several helpful functions for adminis-
tration. You can
u
change the system password (see page 61),
u
save and, if necessary, restore configuration data (see page 62),
u
reset the Gigaset SE365 WLAN to the factory settings (see page 63),
u
restart the device (see page 64),
u
update the firmware (see page 64),
u
view information about the configuration and status of the Gigaset SE365 WLAN
(see page 67).
System Password
You can assign a System Password for the configuration environment of your Gigaset
SE365 WLAN and specify the period after which a session is to end automatically if no
further entry is made.

In the
Administration
menu, select
System Password
.
Following installation, the Gigaset SE365 WLAN configuration is protected by the
system password
admin
. To prevent unauthorised changes to the configuration, you
should change the system password. You may have already set a system password when
setting up the
Security Setup Wizard
. If so, you can change it here.
ì
Enter the current system password in the
Current password
field.
ì
Enter a new password in the
New password
field and repeat it in the
Confirm new password
field.
Note:
Only one connection to the configuration environment can be started at any one
time.
