Malfunction
Action
The temperature alarm is activated:
• Ambient air temperature is too high.
• The compressor’s ventilation holes are
blocked. Check cooling air inlets as well
as cooling air outlet.
• The dust filters are clogged. Clean or
replace the filters if necessary.
• Check the operation of the fan. Replace it
if necessary.
• Temperature alarm function faulty. Replace
temperature sensor and/or control section
PC board if necessary.
• Check the operation of the compressor.
Overhaul or replace it if necessary.
Abnormal amounts of water flush out through
the moisture relief valve when the valve pin
is depressed:
• Check the operation of water separator 2
and filter/soleniod valves. Overhaul or
replace them if necessary.
• Malfunction in the thermoelectric cooler.
Check the function of the cooler temp.
switch as previously described. Replace
the thermoelectric cooler if necessary.
The manometer does not indicate the correct
operating pressure:
• Inspect the compressed air tubing. Clear
obstructions, tighten loose connectors and/
or exchange faulty components.
• Adjust the pressure regulator as described
in the chapter Adjustments. If the operating
pressure cannot be adjusted, replace the
pressure regulator.
• Check the manometer and replace it if
necessary.
• Check the operation of the compressor.
Overhaul or exchange it if necessary.
