Mobile Software Programming

Due to the separation of common mobile software and language package, it is possible to fulfil the
demands of the market requiring customization and flexibility.

As a consequence the software programming process in the LSO is divided into two different
steps as followed:

1.

Software update to latest version of signalling software.

2.

Programming of customer specific language package.

Mobile Software Updating

Update the latest signalling software and language package with the flash programmer. The
software for the C62 is loaded from a PC directly. Hardware interconnection between the mobile
and the PC is shown in the figure below. See installation instructions in the following section.

C62 Software Programming Setup

Flashing tools

The Flash Programmer software tool is used for flashing. The latest software release, a language
package, a customization package and a SIM lock package can be chosen. Flashing requires a
fully charged battery or an battery dummy connected to a 4 V power supply.

The flashing of the phone is done via the SLIM-Lumberg connector. In order to have a
