slower speed connect terminal emulator at slower
speed before saving settings to NVRAM.

CAUTION:
USR5686G does not support &H2 &I0
software flow control between modems.
Using &H2 results in auto change to &I2
RS-232 software flow control. XON/XOFF
characters in data stream will cause
modem to disconnect, fail to connect or
stop sending. Use only &H0 &I0 no flow
control set by ATZ3.
APOGEE Insight AutoDial Application
overrides RAM (volatile memory) with
hardware flow control settings and
extended response codes.
Online Commands
CAUTION:
Factory default for USR5686G is ATY1
(NAVRAM1) error checking which
connects to modems with or without error
checking. Earlier model default was ATY0
(NAVRAM0) no error checking.
To disable error checking command ATY0
one time with DIP switch 7 UP and reset
(ATZ) or power cycle modem. ATYn
commands are non-volatile.
For other commands refer to US Robotics
documentation supplied with modem.
