3.2.2 Vacuum contactor
Close and open the vacuum contactor by push buttons.
Closing and opening is also possible from a switchgear
control room or control station.
3.2.3 Earthing switch
Earthing switches are equipped with manually operated
mechanisms. The operating lever can only be inserted or
withdrawn with the switches set to the end positions.
Closing
Hold the handle
• Horizontally (ball grips on the right).
• Fit it to the operating shaft (Fog.16) in opening 12
(Fig.14).
• Turn it-clockwise by 90˚ to the stop into the vertical
position.
• Pull it off.
Opening
Hold the handle
• Vertically.
• Fit it to the operating shaft in opening 12 (Fig.14).
• Turn anti-clockwise by 90˚ to the stop into the horizontal
position and pull it off.
3.3 Opening and closing HV door
3.3.1 HV door
Opening HV door
The withdrawable unit must be in the disconnected
position
• Insert the double-bit key type 5 DIN 43 668-C35 into the
lock (10,Fig.14) and turn it anti-clockwise by 90˚. In this
position the key cannot be withdraw.
• Raise the catch (11) to the stop and open the door A
slight effort is required for lifting the catch as the
shutters are operated at the same time.
Closing the door
The LV plug connector must be applied.
• Make sure that the double-bit key has inserted and that
its grip is in a vertical position.
• Raise the catch to the stop, close the door, and push the
catch fully down. This requires a slight effort as the
shutters are operated at the same time.
• Turn the double-bit key clockwise by 90˚ and withdraw it.
