Description of USB Interface, Relay and Display Elements
The USB alarm box has the following connectors:
•
A USB interface (4-pin USB-B)
•
A GOK relay (1) with potential-free break contact
•
Six signalling relays (2-7) with potential-free make contacts
•
All relay contacts can be connected via 2-pin screw terminals
•
Power supply via USB connection
USB Communications Interface
As prerequisites for the communication with the DAKON-XP-PC via the USB connection,
the USBQLIB32 driver needs to be installed on the DAKON-XP-PC, the USB cable needs
to be plugged in and the DAKON-XP-PC needs to be restarted. When the OSCOP monitor
starts up (on system startup), communication with the USB Alarm Box is established
automatically.
The installation file can be found on the CD supplied. The installation is described in detail
in the OSCOP P manual.
USB Interface
The connection cable to the DAKON-XP-PC is
plugged into the USB port.
The USB LED lights up to show a connection
has been made.
