NOTICE
You must not connect an external voltage to the PP connector, because it could destroy the
internal circuitry of the connector. This also applies if the module is operated in accordance
with the SAE J1772 standard. In this operating mode, you must not connect the PP
conductor to the module. This will result in an error message.
If you have configured the technology module with "electromagnetic connector locking", the
ACTn connector functions as open collector. The load (the locking electromagnets in this
case) connected to this connector must be supplied by a voltage source with limited voltage
and/or power rating (SELV, PELV according to EN61010-1 and EN61010-2-201, Class 2).
Maximum 12 V DC / 1.3 A.
In general, you must not connect an external voltage >12 V to the ACTp and ACTn
connectors.

A BaseUnit of the BU type B1 or BU type B0 is required to operate the technology module.
