6.5 Correct the Q adjustment (BS 6600)
The Q adjustment is performed by moving two eccentric screws [1] laterally by
± 2.5 mm. This lateral adjustment changes the contact pressure of the door
on the frame seal.

If the contact pressure of the door
on the frame seal is too low, the Q
adjustment must be moved in the
direction of the frame seal.
If the contact pressure of the door
on the frame seal is too high, the Q
adjustment must be moved in the
direction of the frame.

There is a marking [1] on the eccen-
tric screw.
The default setting of the Q ad-
justment is in neutral position. The
marking points downwards.
The max. travel range of the Q
adjustment is reached when the
marking is in a 90° position.
