Sensing range setting

Position the object at the required distance and move it into the beam path of the
device (note the min. and max. ranges,

see figure 12, page 28

The sensing range is adjusted by pressing the single teach-in button (yellow LED
lights up).

NOTE

Note: The sensor automatically places the switching point in the object (teach-in offset
15 mm). Exception: When manually adjusting a mm value using an IO-Link, we recom‐
mend placing the switching point in the object.

NOTE

We recommend making the adjustments using an object with a low remission.

NOTICE

Do not operate the teach-in button using sharp objects.
