5.1
Typical connection variants
The following chapter shows three typical connection variants for different system
configurations and device types.
5.1.1
Connecting a camera system to a controller unit
The camera system is connected to the controller unit via the CAN interface.
The HOST ETHERNET interface is required to configure the camera system. The
configuration PC with the SOPAS-ET configuration software is usually connected to
the camera system temporarily via the Ethernet interface.
The Gbit Ethernet interfaces enable rapid image transmission to an image server.
