Setup filter (averaging for the “Measured value” analog output)
Function
It is possible that a plotting device is connected to the “Measured value” analog output
which does not record the measured value continuously, but only at regular intervals – e.g.
a printing recorder. It can be advantageous to average the analog measurement signal over
the respective time interval; otherwise the plotter would register momentary values which
may not be representative.
To achieve this effect, the “Setup filter” can be programmed.The setting value is the time
constant of sliding averaging (time-related integration).
Procedure
1 Open the menu: Main menu
