Installation with RAM MOUNT universal mounts
As an alternative or supplement to the mounting kits of the 2D LiDAR sensor, universal
mounting kits such as the RAM MOUNT can also be used for installation.
•
RAM MOUNT is a universal and solid mounting system for special brackets.
•
It uses ball joints in various sizes that are joined together with fasteners to form a
complete retainer system that can be very flexibly adjusted.
•
The joints can be moved and easily adjusted when the fixing screw is loosened.
•
The bracket is fixed in its set position as soon as the fixing screw is tightened.

Mounting position on the industrial truck
▸
First mount the 2D LiDAR sensor on the SICK mounting kit (see above).
▸
Mount RAM MOUNT bracket RAM-B-238 to the back of the TiM mounting kit.
▸
Mount RAM MOUNT bracket to a RAM MOUNT socket arm.
▸
Clamp socket arm to a suitable RAM MOUNT clamp base.
▸
Then fasten the clamp base to the side strut of the driver's cage, for example.
