HD-TVI DVR User Manual

Notice

: Please make sure the correct installation of the pillars for supporting the two

mounting bars.

2.1.2 Install DVD Writer

Notice

: 1. The writers must be the compatible devices we recommend. Please refer to

“Appendix C Compatible Devices”.
2. This device is only for backup.

①

Loosen the screws and take out the brace with a triangular mark (if there is no such brace,
please skip this step). And then install the DVD Writer.

②

Connect the power and data cables and then install the HDDs as shown below.

③

Install back the mounting bar and fix the other two HDDs under it as shown below.

Note:

If you install a DVD writer, you can only install 4 HDDs at most. Because too

much room has been taken up.
