SAFETY FEATURES

This SHX oil-free radiator features a protection system designed to protect the appliance and
to minimise the risk of fire.

Please be aware that the mechanisms are not intended to act as an auto-stop or other
convenience function. Always switch the appliance off, unplug from the power socket and
allow the heater to cool before moving, cleaning or putting it in storage.

TIP PROTECTION

Tip protection will switch the appliance off if the appliance is tilted a few degrees from its upright
position, if you pick it up or if it is accidentally knocked over.

If this occurs, disconnect from the power supply, wait a few minutes, then reconnect to the supply
and start the heater up again normally.

NOTE

If the appliance fails to restart or if the safety feature trips

again, switch the radiator off again and contact a SHX

service centre.
