2.3 Peripheral Installation

This XPC introduces a revolutionary new way of installing peripherals. This completely

TOOLLESS installation is quick and simple, but first take a moment to orientate yourself with

the rack and mounting brackets.

2.3.1 FDD Cable and Rack Mounting

1. Take the two FDD mounting brackets

from the accessory box.

Note : The rack is designed for one 3.5" device only. If you are installing a

FDD, proceed to step 2.3.1; if you are installing a hard drive , proceed

to step 2.3.2.

Note : The mounting brackets are side specific.

2. Align the bracket pins with the FDD and attach.
