8) Remove the 2” wide Velcro strips that secure the batteries in place and set
aside. One per battery. Do not remove the 2” wide Velcro strips that wrap
tightly around the battery as they will be used to lift the battery out.
9) Disconnect the two purple and black connectors. One for each battery.
10) Note; EACH BATTERY WEIGHS 27 KG (60 LB) To remove the batteries lift
up and remove each battery individually by placing your fingers into the 2”
wide Velcro secured nylon strap wrapped around the batteries and set aside
carefully.
Note: To refit the batteries they must be positioned with the
negative terminal on the left and the positive terminal on the right side when
viewed from the rear of the powerchair.
