INTRODUCTION
VGA RGBHV Distribution Amplifiers Series
Thank you for purchasing the SB-1116G 1x16 VGA(RGBHV) Amplifier Splitter. You will find this
unit easy to install and highly reliable but it is essential that you read this manual thoroughly before
attempting to use this amplifier.
Congratulations on your purchase of one of the most innovative VGA Signal distribution products on
the market today. The SB-1116 provides (16) VGA outputs that are identical to the source signal. This
is useful for distributing high resolution VGA signals from one computer to (16) different monitors.
This ultrahigh speed current feedback amplifier with an excellent 5500V/as slew rate results in a rise
time of 545ps, making it ideal as a pulse amplifier. The high slew rate lowers the effect of slew rate
limiting and results in the large signal bandwidth of 440MHz (G=+2), a small signal bandwidth of
(-3dB) 1000MHz (G=+1) delivers computer resolutions up to 2048x2048 at distances up to 150 feet
away without signal deterioration. Signal quality is maintained over a wide bandwidth with worst-case
distortion of -40dBc@250MHz (G=+10, 1Vpp). Input and output connectors are HD-15 female type.
The SB-1116 is housed in a 19 inch rack mountable metal case, (1) RU high. All units are +12VDC
powered, a power adaptor is included.
