Settings
Click the Settings button in the function buttons to configure the parameters of the modem.Choose
a submenu to access the corresponding configuration interface.
3.5.1
Network Mode
You can choose how the modem connects the network.Choose an option as below and then click
the
OK
button to save your settings.The settings will take effect when the modem is building a
connection next time.

Auto
: the default option, the modem can automatically find the appropriate type of
network(3G or 2G) as per the actual network environment;

Only UMTS/HSDPA
: the modem can only connect to a 3G network;

Only GPRS/EDGE
: the modem can only connect to a 2G network.

Network Selection
You can choose how the modem selects a network.Choose an option as below and then click the
OK
button to save your settings.
