A-238 II(Class A Balanced Hybrid Amplifier) is designed by Shengya feature on vacuum tube
and transistor hybrid power amplifiers. It adopts fully balanced Class A amplifier circuit recog-
nized by many international high-end audio product manufacturers and enthusiasts, so the
sound quality, tone, and sound field performance reach a fairly high level in the industry.
The pre-amplification part adopts the ECC803 tube common-cathode amplifier circuit, and
the ECC802 tube serves as the SRPP driving amplifier, which results in beautiful sound and
great dynamic performance. It adopts a hybrid precision high-voltage stabilized power supply.
The voltage stability is extremely high, while the AC ripple coefficient is extremely low.
The power amplifier part is made up of Toshiba high-power transistors to form a 0dB current
amplifier circuit. The sound is warm and powerful. It can easily drive a variety of advanced brand
speakers. The tube circuit cross-connect capacitors are German MCap brand oil-immersed ca-
pacitors and German WIMA brand MKP series high-end audio special capacitors. The filter ca-
pacitor used in the transistor power amplifier power supply is the Japanese ELNA brand
FORAUDIO series 10000uf/50v specification, which play an important role in improving the
sound quality and tone of the whole machine.
The volume control adopts the electronic volume control chip CS3310 made by American
Crystal Company, which controls the error level between two channels within 0.5dB, offering
better control accuracy of the quadruple mechanical potentiometer in ±3dB.
The toroidal high-power transformer is filled with epoxy resin with a shielding box, which ef-
fectively reduces the vibration and noise interference. The AC power sockets are Japanese Furu-
kawa gold-plated, and the built-in fuse is Swiss Schulte brand. Two channels independently use
special audio filter capacitors and rectifiers, with a total capacity of up to 120,000 microfarads
and 32 high-power transistors to form 100W (8Ω) pure Class A output power per channel. In ad-
dition to the delicate and surging sound performance, the speaker terminal uses German WBT
brand products, while the balanced signal input terminal uses Swiss Nutrick brand products.
Another function of A-238II is as an independent power amplifier. You can use the LINE5
high-level signal input terminal to connect to other pre-amplifier.
A-238 introduces the CPU full-function control and data information screen display mode, so
that the advanced HIFI amplifier has entered the digital technology field. The full-function infra-
red remote control system is specially set up for users.
