Brightness

Screen brightness can be set to fixed levels or an automatic setting.

Fixed options:

Cave:

Made specifically for cave conditions. Longest battery life.

Low:

Second longest battery life.

Med:

Best mix of battery life and readability.

High:

Easiest readability, especially in bright sunlight.

The “Auto” option measures ambient light levels and then adjusts
the screen brightness to best performance. It provides maximum
brightness in bright sunlight, but then lowers brightness to save
battery life when the environment gets darker.

Metric units

Temp Units

Two options are available:
