Power
Stereo is powered by

AA batteries or AC adapter.
AC Adapter
Plug included 9.

v adapter into jack on rear of car marked “DC
9.5
v.” Plug adapter into AC outlet.
Lights illuminate when adapter is being used.
Batteries
1.
Remove battery panel on underside of car by removing screws securing panel and squeezing
release tab.

. Insert

AA batteries, ma/- poles with illustration inside of compartment.

. Replace battery panel.
Radio Operation
1.
Open hood.
2.
Push function switch at top left of control panel to the position marked FM (far right).

. Adjust volume switch at top right by pushing switch left (quiet) or right (loud).
4.
Press SCAN button and radio will automatically search the FM band and lock onto stations with
strong signals. Stations do not appear on LCD screen.
5.
Press RESET and radio begins scanning at bottom of frequency range (
87
MHz).
CD Operation
1.
Open hood.
2.
Push function switch to position marked CD (middle).
3.
Press
or left front headlight and CD carrier in front of stereo
slides open. Place disc in carrier with label facing up and press
or left front headlight to retract carrier.
4
. Press
or right front headlight to begin playing CD. Speakers
are housed in the four wheels and the underside of stereo. Press
again or right front headlight to pause play. Press STOP to
stop play. Press
during play to skip to another track.
