IMPORTANT:
• Remove and discard the foam packing block from inside the filter door. The unit
must be placed on a level surface, and there must be a minimum 24” (60cm)
clearance from anything around the unit. Ensure that the air intake grill and air
exit grill are not blocked.
Operating the Unit
1. Plug the power cord into an energized electrical wall outlet.
2. The power button will illuminate when it is pressed to turn the unit on.
3. Select the desired speed by rotating the variable speed control.
4. Press the Power Button again to shut the unit off.
Filter Cleaning Reminder
• The Check Filter LED Light illuminates to alert you when the Stainless Steel Filter
needs to be checked for cleaning.
• The light is programmed to illuminate after set intervals of time.
• Depending on the air quality in your environment, it may be necessary to clean your
filter more or less frequently than the Check Filter Light indicates. Constant Arcing is
the best indication that the filter is in need of cleaning.
To extinguish the light:
1. Press the Power Button once so the unit shuts off.
2. Next, hold down the Power Button for 5 seconds. You will see the Check Filter
Light flash for 3 seconds. Your timer has now reset.
Stainless Steel Filter Maintenance
• Caution must be used when handling or cleaning the stainless steel filter as the
ionizer wire may break with excessive applied pressure.
• Inserting a wet filter into the unit may permanently damage the electrical components!
• The air quality will affect how frequently the filter must be cleaned. The stainless
steel filter may be machine washed in a dishwasher or manually in a sink or tub.
Stainless Steel Filter Assembly cleaning procedure:

2. Unplug the unit from the receptacle outlet.

Check Filter Warning
1. The Check Filter LED will blink rapidly when the Permanent Stainless Steel
Filter Assembly is removed and until it has been properly re-installed.
2. If the Permanent Stainless Steel Filter Assembly has not been re-installed
properly into the unit, the Check Filter light will continue to blink. Remove
the filter and confirm that no object may have fallen in and may be
preventing the filter from being re-installed properly.
Note:
Do not allow the dishwasher rack to bend the Stainless Steel Filter Plates or break
the Ionizer Wire. Care must be taken when positioning in the dishwasher. Your air
purifier will not function properly if the Stainless Steel Plates touch each other or
the Ionizer Wire breaks.

Dishwasher Cleaning
Remove the Honeycomb Pre-Filter from the bottom of the Stainless Steel Filter
Assembly and place both components on the bottom tray of your dishwasher.
Wash the filters as you would dishes. If you find that the filter’s Stainless Steel
Filter Plates do not get completely clean with one wash cycle, increase the wash
cycle time or wash the Filters a second time. Note that some phosphate-free
dishwasher detergents can cause staining to the aluminum filter-frame. Staining
will not affect performance. If in doubt, use water-only cleaning or clean in
sink. The normal dishwasher drying cycle should be an effective drying time.
