[11] Drum cartridge replacement
The drum cartridge should be replaced by a service engineer, and
should not be replaced by the user.
1. Drum cartridge replacement timing
The useful life of the drum cartridge is approximately 10,000 copies.
When the internal counter reaches 9,700 copies and the power
switch is turned on, all three exposure indicators will start to blink.
This is an indication that a replacement of the drum cartridge will be
needed soon. Copying can be performed using the normal procedure
during this time. After approximately 300 copies have been made, the
READY indicator will go off, all three exposure indicators will blink
continuously, and the copier will stop operating. Replace the drum
cartridge at this time.
