AUTO COOK RECIPES
GRATIN (AC-2)
Spinach gratin
Ingredients:
2 tbsp
butter or margarine (20 g)
1
onion (50 g), chopped finely
600 g
leaf spinach, frozen
salt & pepper
nutmeg
garlic powder
1 tsp
butter or margarine to grease the
gratin dish
400 g
boiled potatoes, in slices
200 g
cooked ham, diced
3
eggs
100 ml
cream (crème fraîche)
100 g
grated cheese (e.g. Gouda)
paprika powder to sprinkle
Procedure:
1. Place butter into a bowl, add chopped onion,
and cover.
Heat for 2-3 minutes on HIGH power.
2. Add spinach, and cover with a lid.
Cook for 12-14 minutes on HIGH power.
Stir once or twice while cooking.
Pour off the liquid and season the spinach.
3. Grease the gratin dish (26 cm). Place alternate
layers of potato slices, diced ham and spinach
in the dish. The top layer should be potatoes.
4. Whisk the eggs with the cream, add spices and
pour over the vegetables. Sprinkle grated
cheese and paprika powder on top. Place the
gratin on the low rack.
Cook on
AUTO COOK AC-2
“Gratin” (1.5 kg).
5. After cooking, let the food stand, wrapped in
aluminium foil, for approx. 5 minutes.
Hint:
You can vary the ingredients of the
gratin in any way, e.g. use broccoli,
salami, noodles.
GRATIN (AC-2)
Broccoli-Potato-Gratin with Mushrooms
Ingredients:
350 g
potatoes, peeled and optionally halved
350 g
broccoli, in florets
6 tbsp
water (60 ml)
1 tsp
butter or margarine to grease the
gratin dish
350 g
mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp
parsley, finely chopped
salt & pepper
3
eggs
120 ml
cream
120 ml
milk
salt
pepper
nutmeg
80 g
grated Gouda cheese
Procedure:
1. Place potatoes and broccoli into the bowl. Add
water and cover with a lid.
Cook for 11-13 minutes on HIGH power.
Stir once while cooking.
2. Cut potatoes into slices.
3. Grease the gratin dish (round, 26 cm). Place
the broccoli, the mushrooms and the potatoes
alternately in layers.
4. Whisk the eggs with the liquid and spices and
pour over the vegetables. Sprinkle grated
cheese over the dish. Place the gratin on the
low rack.
Cook on
