1) In the external input mode

Check the line between the video input
terminal (rear) and Pin(38) of IC301, and
service it if defective.
Check the line between the video input
terminal (front) and Pin(34) of IC301, and
service it if defective.
Check the line between Pin(24) of the U/V tuner
and Pin(36) of IC301, and service it if defective.

of IC751, or approximately -6V voltage supplied to
Pin(7) of IC751?
Is 5V voltage supplied to Pins(16,40) of IC301?
Is the serial data and clock signal
supplied to Pins(23, 24) of IC301?
Check the P-ON+5V line and AL+5V line,
and service it if defective.

Check the AL+5V line and the
AL-30V line (R760,R761), and service it if defective.
Check the line between Pin(28)
of IC301 and Pin(58) of IC501,
and service it if defective.
Check the line between Pins(23, 24) of IC301
and Pins(71, 72) of IC501, and service it if
defective.
Check the line between Pin(4) of IC751
and Q305, and service it if defective.
Check the line between Pin(29) of IC301 and
Pin(5) of IC751, and service it if defective.
When only Line signal is not outputted...
check the line between the emitter of Q305 and the
video output terminal (JK751), and service it if
defective.
When only RF signal is not outputted...
check the tuner (TU701), and the line between the
emitter of Q305 and Pin(6) of the tuner, and
service it if defective.
Is the video signal inputted into Pin(5) of IC751?
Is the video signal outputted to the emitter of Q305?
Replace IC301.
