SETTING UP

Standby mode

The Player goes into the Standby mode (Indicator lamp lights red) in the
following cases.

• When you use the

OPERATE

button on the Remote to turn off the Player.

Press again the

OPERATE

button on the Remote to cancel the Standby

mode.

• When you leave the Player in the DVD mode without a disc inside or

playback is stopped for more than 5 minutes.

• When no video signal is received for more than 5 minutes in INPUT mode.

• When not in use, unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet.
• The power supply circuit performs an initialization routine immediately after you

connect the AC adapter or install a battery pack. Because of this, you should wait
for about three seconds before turning on power.
