The power cannot be turned on.

Is the fuse normal?

Refer to the flow chart No.3 power trouble-shooting.

Is normal state restored when the power cord is

once withdrawn and then inserted again after

several seconds?

Replace the fuse.

Yes

Is the AT 5V line voltage normal?

Is there leaking or short-circuited primary side

component? (Q9007, Q9010, D9016, T9001,

D9012-3, C9021-2, etc.)

Yes

Is the voltage of AT 12V, AT -30V and filament

normal?

Check each rectifying circuit of secondary circuit.

component?

Does the secondary side photocoupler circuit

operate normally?

Check the circuit and replace the parts.

Does the primary side photocoupler circuit

operate normally?

Check the circuit and replace the parts.

(D9020,R9030,D9021-3,etc.)

When buzz is heard from the vicinity of power circuit.

Check for short-circuiting of rectifying diode and circuit in each rectifying circuit of secondary side.

(D9005-8,D9025,IC9001-3,Q9001,Q9005,etc.)

The power cannot be turned on.

Is P-CON(H) of IC504 pin 116 changed from 'L'

level to 'H' level?

Is the Q9005 base changed from 'L' level to 'H'

level?

Replace IC504.

Yes

Is the AUDIO 9V SW. circuit turned on?

Check the line from the IC504 pin 116 to the Q9005

base.

Refer to the flow chart No.9.

Check for short-circuiting of rectifying diode and

circuit in each rectifying circuit of secondary side.

Yes

Replace D9020.

The fluorescent display tube does not light.

Is 5V voltage supplied to the IC5001 pin 18?

Check the AT 5V line.

Yes

Is -30V voltage supplied to the IC5001 pin 16?

Check the AT -30V line.

Yes

Is 4.0 MHz oscillation signal confirmed on the

IC5001 pins 19 and 20?

Check FL5001, IC5001 and their periphery.

Yes

Check the signal lines of FIP DA, FIP CK, FIP CS

of IC5001 and IC504.

Check or replace IC5001 and IC504.

Is key switch contact and installation state normal?

Replace Key switch.

Is the control voltage input normally into the pins

95 and 96 of IC504?

Check the power circuit and D5001.

Check for damages such as crack on the

pins 1, 2 and 61, 62 of fluorescent display tube?
