NOTICE!
Do not stay in the area where the tool can get if the back litter occurs. The thrower throws the
tool in a direction opposite to the movement of the blade at the jam point.
Do not use a thin saw blade.
Such discs often cause backlash and loss of control.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
Do not let the feeling of familiarity with this tool as a result of the practice replace the strict
adherence to the safety rules when using the grinder. If you use this tool improperly and
dangerously, serious injury may occur.
1. Always use the appropriate grinder cover. The cover protects the worker from fragments of
the damaged disc and from the flying pieces of ground material.
2. The permissible speed (nominal circumferential speed) of the accessory used shall not be
less than the idle speed of the machine. Discs and other accessories used at speeds higher
than nominal may break and cause injury.
3. When performing operations where contact with a cutting edge with a hidden electrical line
or a self-powered line may occur, hold the tool behind an insulated gripping part. Contact with
the "live" lead leads to the transfer of the current to the conductive part of the tool and the
electric shock to the operator.
4. When using discs with a recessed center, make sure that only glass fiber reinforced discs
are used.
5. Always use safety goggles. Dioptric or sunglasses are definitely not eye protection!
6. Carefully check for cracks and disc damage before use. Replace the damaged or cracked
disc immediately. Leave the tool (with cover) idle for at least one minute outside the range of
other people. If the disc is defective, it may break down during this test.
7. Use only the flanges provided for this tool.
8. Be careful not to damage the shaft, the support flange (especially the contact surface) or
the locking / securing nut. Damage to these parts could result in breakage of the disc.
9. NEVER use a tool with discs intended for sawing wood or other saw blades. These blades
often cause a kickback during operation resulting in loss of control over the tool and personal
injury.
10. Hold the tool firmly in your hands.
11. Keep your hands away from rotating parts.
12. Ensure that the power cord is out of the reel. Do not tighten the cable around your hand
or wrist. If you lose control of the tool, the cable may roll around you and cause injury.
13. Make sure that the blade does not touch the workpiece before starting the tool.
14. Turn the tool on and allow it to run for a short time before using it on the workpiece.
Check vibrations or vibrations that could indicate poorly installed or poorly balanced disc.
15. For grinding, use the part of the surface of the blade that is intended for this operation.
16. Pay attention to sparking sparks. Hold the tool so that sparks fly out of you or other
people or flammable materials.
17. Do not place the running tool. Only use the tool if you hold it in your hands.
18. Do not touch the workpiece immediately after finishing work. It can be extremely hot and
burn your skin.
19. ALWAYS use appropriate clothing including long sleeves, leather gloves and workshop
aprons to protect the skin from contact with hot eyes.
20. Using this tool for grinding or sanding selected products, paints and wood can result in
exposure to a dustman containing dangerous substances. Therefore, use appropriate
respirators.
