Additional Safety Rules - Charger
1. Before using the charger, read all the instructions and warnings on the charger and the battery pack
as well as instructions on how to use the battery.
2. Charge the batteries only at home, as the charger is intended for indoor use only.
3. DANGER! If the battery is cracked or otherwise damaged, do not insert it into the charger. There is
a risk of electric shock.
4. WARNING! Do not allow any liquid to come in contact with the charger. There is a risk of electric
shock.
5. The charger and rechargeable batteries are specially designed to work together. Do not attempt to
charge the battery with a charger other than the specified charger.
6. Do not disconnect the charger by pulling it behind the power cord.
7. Do not use the charger if it has been subjected to severe impact, fall or otherwise damaged. If the
charger is damaged, contact your reseller or authorized Sharks service center.
8. Do not disassemble the charger or attempt any repair.
Additional safety rules - batteries
1. The battery was shipped in an uncharged state. Fully charge the battery before using it.
2. If the battery is damaged, do not dispose of it with ordinary waste. In the event of a fire, the battery
may explode. Take it to the collection yard or contact your retailer,
3. Under extreme conditions of use or temperatures, a small loss of liquid from the battery may occur.
This does not necessarily mean a battery failure. However, if the outer seal is broken and the liquid
comes into contact with the skin, wash the affected area immediately with soap and water. If
swallowed, rinse eyes with clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek immediate medical attention.
Inform medical personnel that the liquid contains 25-30% potassium hydroxide solution.
4. Never try to open the battery for any reason. If the plastic battery case opens or breaks, stop using
the battery immediately.
5. Do not carry the battery in your pocket or put it in the tool box or any other place where metal
objects might come into contact. The battery may corrode, which can cause damage to the battery,
burns or fire.
