CLEARING A JAM FROM THE TOOL

1. Remove any remaining fasteners from the nailer.

A. Pull nail pusher all the way to the rear until it latches (Fig.1).
B. Slide fasteners to the rear and remove from magazine (Fig.2).

2. Use a pair of needle nose pliers and/or a flat screwdriver to free 
bent fastener from back of nosepiece (see Fig.3). If fastener cannot 
be removed it may be necessary to remove the magazine as follows:

A. Remove two screws (one on each side of tool) (A) Fig.4.
B. Remove two nuts (B) Fig.4.
C. Slide magazine back, off of nosepiece.
D. After clearing bent fastener reverse above to reassemble.

CLEANING THE TOOL

Disconnect tool before cleaning and inspection. Correct all 
problems before placing the tool back in use.

 

NEVER USE PETROL OR OTHER FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS TO 
CLEAN THE TOOL. VAPORS IN THE TOOL WILL IGNITE 
AND CAUSE THE TOOL TO EXPLODE AND RESULT IN 
DEATH OR SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY.

 
Remove tar build up with kerosene #2 fuel oil or fuel.
Dry off tool completely before use. 
DO NOT SOAK tool with cleaning solutions or damage may occur.
