Programming level indicator VL .. FA7
Display (multi-digit) for automatically alternatingly
display of the filling in liters, percentage and centime-
ters.
Button (for the configuration/start of the filling level
measurement)
1. Field of application
The integrated filling level indicator FA7 serves to identify the filling level of diesel and fuel oil in
the connected container. It is compatible with all shapes of tanks, barrels and cisterns.
Note: If you would like to measure the filling level of any other kind of liquid than fuel/diesel oil,
please contact the manufacturer/supplier.
2. Programming/Commissioning
A) Start
Press the button until you hear the acoustic confirmation signal (double note/vibration).
“Tank” will appear on the display.
B) Setting the type of the tank
By pressing the button shortly, the type of tank will be chosen. By pressing long, the choice
is confirmed. Available tank types:
- Cylindrical = cyl.
- Ball-shaped
- Cube
C) Setting of tank height/volume
C1: For cylindrical and cubical tanks the height and the volume are to be set.
First, there is a 3-digit display. The digits for centimeters, decimeters and meters are pro-
grammed one after the other starting with the ones, followed by the tens and hundreds.
The value is changed by a short key press and confirmed by a long key press.
After confirming the tank height,
“Liter” will appear in the display. Enter the maximum ca-
pacity of the container from the right to the left as before.
The maximum content is: 99.999 l
C2: For ball-shaped containers only the liter input is required.
A 5-digit liter display appears Here, from right to left, enter the maximum capacity of the
container in liters. The value is changed by a short key press and confirmed by a long key
press.
