Problem
Possible cause / solution
Appliance cannot
be switched on.
The rechargeable battery is completely discharged. Switch off the appliance
and charge rechargeable battery (
chapter “Charging the rechargeable
battery”
).
Appliance cannot
be charged.
The mains adapter is not plugged in correctly. Check whether the mains
adapter plug or the connector is securely connected in its sockets (
chapter
“Charging the rechargeable battery”
).
The appliance
hardly picks up
any dust.
The dirty water tank will need to be emptied (
chapter “Emptying and clean-
ing the dirty water tank”
).
The front rubber lip seal on the brush cover is soiled. Wipe the rubber lip seal
clean with a cloth.
Operating dura-
tion is becoming
progressively
shorter.
It is possible that dirt is preventing the brush from rotating freely. Clean the
brush (
chapter “Cleaning the brushes and brush cover”
).
LED flashes red.
The rechargeable battery is low. Switch off the appliance and charge re-
chargeable battery (

).
