Before using the appliance, the user should
read the following instructions carefully.

General information
For best results when trimming hair in the
nose and ears, this appliance has two
exchangeable trimming heads.
Important safety instructions

The appliance itself is splash-proof. It
may be exposed to spray, but must not be
completely immersed.

This appliance is not intended for use by
any persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lacking experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
●
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
●
No responsibility will be accepted if
damage results from improper use, or if
these instructions are not complied with.
●
This appliance is intended for domestic
use only and not for commercial
applications.
●
In order to comply with safety
regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs
of electrical appliances must be carried
out by qualified personnel. If repairs are
needed, please send the appliance to one
of our customer service departments.

Battery
A decrease in the operating speed
indicates that the battery needs to
be replaced.
- Never dispose of old batteries in your
domestic garbage. Old batteries must be
disposed of through local ‘special
garbage collection points’.
- During extended periods of non-use,
always remove the battery from its
compartment.
Battery replacement:
- The battery compartment cover can be
removed by turning it anti-clockwise and
lifting it off.
- When installing the battery (‘AA’-
type,1.5V), always ensure correct
polarity: the b pole is inserted
first (see diagram in the instructions).
- The use of rechargeable batteries will
result in a reduced operating speed, as
the operating voltage has a lower rating.
- Close the battery compartment cover
and lock it by turning clockwise; ensure
that the two marks are properly aligned.
Before using for the first time
Before the appliance is used for the first
time, and also after extended periods of non-
use, it should be thoroughly cleaned as
described in
General care and cleaning .
Operation
- Use the On/Off switch to turn the
appliance on.
- Insert the trimming head gently into the
nose or ear and start trimming the hairs.
- Turn the appliance off after use.
