CEC Setting
Using the HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control)
protocol, you can interactively operate compatible
system equipment (Blu-ray disc equipment, AV
amplifier, DVD).
To access this function: System > CEC Setting
CEC Enable
Select “CEC Enable” to enable or disable the CEC
functions listed below.
Power Off Device
By selecting “Power Off Device”, the off power
function is enabled. CEC commands will now be
able to turn off the TV and place your devices in
standby mode.
Auto Power On
By selecting “Auto Power On”, the on power function
is enabled. While the TV is in standby mode, it
automatically turns on and plays back the image
from the HDMI source.
HDMI ARC
Selecting “HDMI ARC” allows the user to listen to
the TV audio via audio equipment without using an
optical fiber cable, which conventionally is required.
HDMI2 is the ARC port.
Device Scan
Selecting “Device Scan” displays a list of connected
CEC devices.
