INITIALIZATION AND PROGRAMMING
Initialization refers to configuration of a SAT DBRX. This is done during installation. These
tasks are generally performed by the installer of the SAT DBRX.
Programming refers to the entry of locations, names, phone numbers, city, state, and
additional information. This data is generally entered by the end user or customer, and is updated
periodically as required.
3.1 INITIALIZATION
When the SAT DBRX is first powered on, the message "SYSTEM READY " will appear in the LCD
display.
To begin programming press the "
" and the "0" keys simultaneously.

After you see this in the window, you have six
seconds to start to press the six digit password. The
factory default password is 777777. Each time a key
is pressed, a "
" will appear in the window to keep the
password confidential. After the sixth key is entered,
press the " " key. This should bring you to the main
menu. If no key is pressed in the first 6 seconds, the
SAT DBRX automatically reverts to operational mode.
If during programming no key is pressed for 60
seconds, the SAT DBRX automatically reverts to
operational mode.
